Program description
- The online publication AgroPortal.ua has announced the launch of applications for the Second All-Ukrainian Competition “POWER OF AGROCHANGE,” aimed at supporting transformation in the agricultural sector.
- The program focuses on strengthening the ability of agribusinesses to effectively respond to crisis situations and implement innovative solutions, contributing to increased resilience and competitiveness.

Main Information
Eligibility
Participants of the “POWER OF AGROCHANGES” competition may include farmers and agricultural producers who cultivate up to 5,000 hectares of land, as well as micro and small agricultural processing enterprises.
Financing
12 winners are planned (three in each of the four categories), each receiving a cash prize of UAH 100,000 to purchase the necessary equipment for implementing innovative solutions. Finalists will receive awards from resource companies.
Supported Activities
Implementation of new tillage approaches, automation of production processes, expansion of processing capacities, cultivation of non-traditional niche crops (chickpeas, flax, lentils, saffron, etc.), use of American technologies and software.
Roadmap
Program period: February – April 2026.
- 1 February – 1 March 2026
During the first stage, applications are accepted from agricultural producers wishing to participate in the competition. Participants submit their project proposals within the defined nomination categories. - 2 – 15 March 2026
The preliminary selection stage takes place, during which organizers identify the best applications in each of the four nomination categories. A shortlist of finalists is formed for further evaluation. - 16 March – 1 April 2026
The expert evaluation stage is conducted. The Expert Council reviews the shortlisted projects, carries out the voting process, and selects three winners in each nomination category. - Mid-April 2026
The final stage includes the official award ceremony of the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition “POWER OF AGROCHANGES”, marking the completion of the grant program and recognizing the most outstanding initiatives.

Fill out the online Google form, providing contact details, selecting a category, and giving a detailed description of the implemented innovative solution (case).
Evaluation Criteria
Applications are assessed according to four main categories that reflect the level of innovation, management efficiency, and development potential of agricultural enterprises:
- Innovation in Agriculture
Priority is given to farms that implement new approaches to soil cultivation and resource management, apply modern machinery, precision farming technologies, irrigation systems, and other solutions aimed at improving production efficiency. - Smart Management
This category evaluates enterprises that have introduced automation into production processes and use digital solutions for planning, financial, and logistics management. The use of modern software and technological tools that enhance data transparency and operational efficiency is considered an important factor. - Agricultural Processing Innovation
This category includes enterprises that have expanded production or launched new products, obtained certification required for entering export markets, or developed new sales channels. - Profitable Niche
Applications are considered from farms specializing in high-value niche crops, such as chickpeas, cotton, flax, beans, lentils, saffron, coriander, and other crops with strong market potential.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to prepare and submit supporting materials confirming their experience and implemented innovative solutions:
- Contact person’s photo
The applicant must provide a photo of the contact person, which may be used in publications presenting the farm’s experience and implementation of innovative technologies. This ensures proper identification and communication with program organizers. - Photos of the innovative solution
The applicant must submit photos that visually demonstrate the implemented innovative solution in the farm or production process. These materials serve as evidence of the practical application and results of the innovation. - Number of materials
Applicants may submit up to 5 photos that best illustrate the innovation, its functionality, and its impact on production processes.
