Program description

A support program for farmers in Mykolaiv Oblast has been launched in the State Agrarian Register. The initiative aims to support agricultural producers affected by adverse weather conditions.

The program is implemented with the support of international partners and aims to stabilize the activities of small and medium-sized agricultural producers in the region.

Eligibility

Within the framework of the grant program, support is available for agricultural producers from the Halytsynivska, Horokhivska, Zavodska, Snihurivska, Shevchenkivska, and Shyrokivska communities that have suffered significant losses due to hostilities and require additional assistance for agricultural recovery.

Eligible participants include:

  • individuals;
  • sole proprietors (FOPs);
  • legal entities cultivating between 3 and 300 hectares of officially registered agricultural land.

To participate in the program, applicants must:

  • be registered in the DAR system;
  • submit an application indicating the relevant land plots;
  • complete a needs assessment.
 

Financing

Within the framework of the grant program, farmers in the Mykolaiv region will be eligible to receive support totaling UAH 14 million.

Selected participants will receive vouchers ranging from USD 2,000 to USD 6,000 for the purchase of essential agricultural resources.

The financial assistance is aimed at helping farmers access the resources needed for maintaining and restoring agricultural production.

Supported Activities

Within the framework of the grant program, farmers may purchase essential agricultural resources.

Supported activities include:

  • procurement of necessary agricultural materials;
  • preparation of fields for the upcoming season;
  • restoration of production processes;
  • returning demined land to cultivation;
  • recovery of farming activities in war-affected territories.

The program is aimed at helping agricultural producers quickly restore farm operations and support production in communities heavily affected by the war.

Roadmap

Applications for participation can be submitted from May 15 to June 14, 2026.

The organizers encourage applicants to submit their documents through the registry system within the established competition timeline.

Evaluation Criteria

Within the framework of the grant program, priority during the selection process will be given to farmers whose land has been returned to cultivation after official demining or clearance of explosive hazards.

The evaluation criteria are aimed at assessing farm needs and the impact of war-related consequences on agricultural land resources.
