Program description

The Kolomyia City Territorial Community has launched the application process for two competitions supporting startups and business ideas aimed at fostering local entrepreneurship.

The competitions include:

  • a startup and business idea competition;
  • the "Veterans' Enterprise" competition, which supports veteran entrepreneurship, self-employment, and the implementation of business initiatives.

The programme is designed to promote entrepreneurship, support business initiatives, and create opportunities for economic development within the Kolomyia City Territorial Community.

Eligibility

The grant programme is open to applicants who intend to start or expand their own business and implement it within the Kolomyia Community.

Eligible applicants include:

  • community residents;
  • veterans;
  • individual entrepreneurs (sole proprietors);
  • legal entities.

All applicants are expected to have a business idea for starting or developing their own enterprise and be prepared to implement it within the Kolomyia Community.

 

Financing

Each competition provides financial support for the implementation of startups or business ideas. The maximum amount of financial support is up to 100,000 UAH.

Supported Activities

The competitions support projects aimed at developing entrepreneurial initiatives and strengthening the local economy.

Eligible projects include activities focused on:

  • local business development;
  • creation of new jobs;
  • implementation of innovative solutions;
  • increasing the economic activity of the community.

Roadmap

Key milestones include:

  • 1 July — opening of the application period;
  • applications for both competitions are accepted for 60 calendar days;
  • after the application period closes, submitted proposals proceed to the evaluation process in accordance with the competition rules.

How to Apply

To participate in the grant competition, applicants are required to prepare an application package in accordance with the competition requirements.

The application package must include:

  • an application form;
  • a project business plan;
  • any other documents required under the competition rules.

The business plan should describe:

  • the startup or business idea;
  • the proposed product or service;
  • the target market;
  • the financial plan;
  • the expected impact of the project on community development;
  • potential implementation risks.

Required Documents

Mandatory Documents Checklist – "Veterans' Enterprise" Competition

Applicants are required to submit different sets of documents depending on their legal status.

For individuals:

  • Application Form (Annex 1);
  • copy of passport and tax identification number (or relevant passport pages for applicants exempt from obtaining a tax ID);
  • copy of the combat veteran certificate (where applicable);
  • documents confirming family status or the status of a veteran's family member (where applicable);
  • consent to the processing of personal data;
  • Project Business Plan (Annex 3).

For individual entrepreneurs and legal entities:

  • Application Form (Annex 2);
  • copy of passport and tax identification number;
  • copy of the combat veteran certificate (where applicable);
  • documents confirming family status or the status of a veteran's family member (where applicable);
  • consent to the processing of personal data;
  • extract from the Unified State Register;
  • information about the business entity;
  • certificate confirming the absence of tax arrears;
  • certified copy of the organisation's statute (for legal entities);
  • Project Business Plan (Annex 3).

Documents submitted to the competition will not be returned to applicants.

  • certificate confirming the absence of tax arrears;
  • certified copy of the organisation's statute (for legal entities);
  • Project Business Plan (Annex 3);
  • information on all de minimis state aid received during the previous three years, submitted in the prescribed format.

Documents submitted to the competition will not be returned to applicants.
