Program description
The “IntegriTEAM / Community of Integrity” project is implemented by the NGO “Smart Education” with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), which is funded by the EU, co-financed, and implemented by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The competition is aimed at student organizations tasked with developing and implementing a campaign to promote integrity at their higher education institution.
Main Information
Eligibility
The program sets clear eligibility criteria and participation requirements:
- Student organizations must apply through a legally registered entity in Ukraine (NGO or charitable foundation).
- The competition is open to higher education institutions in Ukraine, excluding temporarily occupied territories and active combat zones due to safety concerns.
- Applicants must not be affiliated with aggressor-state structures or recognized as violators of Ukrainian law.
Additionally:
- Applications containing false or incomplete information are not accepted.
- The organizer reserves the right to determine violations, and such decisions are final.
Financing
Within the program, funding is provided for student initiatives: participants are expected to design and implement a campaign promoting integrity in their educational institution. The financial reward amounts to UAH 50,000 and is transferred to the account of the winning student organization.
It is предусмотрено that 7 winners of the competition will receive this financial reward for implementing their campaigns.
Supported Activities
Within the grant program, supported projects focus on developing and implementing integrity promotion campaigns in educational institutions. The main project type is a campaign plan that includes detailed activities.
Supported activities include:
- designing and implementing an information or awareness campaign plan;
- conducting activities within the educational institution according to the proposal;
- preparing materials and actions that contribute to program objectives;
- documenting results through photos/videos and activity descriptions.
All activities are expected to be aligned with the program’s objectives and implemented within the academic environment.
Roadmap
The grant program roadmap outlines clear implementation stages:
- The competition runs from April 20 to May 2, 2026.
- Winners are selected by a dedicated committee by May 8, 2026, with results publicly announced.
- Selected participants must implement their campaigns by June 30, 2026.
- Final reporting is required by July 15, 2026.
How to Apply
To apply for the grant program, participants must complete an online application form and provide the required information and documents. The application includes:
- personal details of the representative (full name, phone, email);
- proof of registration of the student organization as a legal entity in Ukraine;
- an essay on integrity (up to 500 words, without using AI or plagiarism);
- a detailed campaign plan (free format, up to 10 MB);
- consent to personal data processing;
- bank details (for winners).
Evaluation Criteria
Within the program, winners are selected among participants who fully comply with the competition requirements and do not violate any rules. Project proposals (campaign plans) are evaluated based on:
- effectiveness of activities;
- alignment with integrity principles;
- consistency with program goals.
The final decision is made by a dedicated committee of the NGO “Smart Osvita” and is final and not subject to appeal. The organization also reserves the right to determine violations and take appropriate decisions.
Required Documents
For application submission, the grant program предусматривает a checklist of required documents and information that the student organization must provide:
- personal details of the authorized representative (full name, phone, email);
- proof of legal registration of the organization in Ukraine;
- an essay on integrity (up to 500 words);
- a campaign plan with detailed descriptions of all proposed activities (up to 10 MB);
- consent to personal data processing;
- bank details (for winners).
All materials must be complete and comply with the program requirements.
Reporting and Compliance
Within the program, winners are required to submit a report by July 15, 2026 after completing their campaign. The report must confirm project implementation and include:
- photo or video materials proving that the campaign was carried out at the educational institution;
- a description of all activities conducted and their results.
