Eligibility
The grant programme is open to non-profit organisations operating in the city of Kryvyi Rih and the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Eligible applicants include:
- civil society organisations;
- charitable foundations and organisations;
- municipal institutions;
- religious organisations;
- associations and other unions of legal entities.
A key eligibility requirement is that applicants hold non-profit status and carry out their activities within the programme's designated geographic area.
Financing
The grant programme provides funding ranging from UAH 30,000 to UAH 450,000. Project budgets must comply with the established financial requirements.
Key funding conditions include:
- grant amount: from UAH 30,000 to UAH 450,000;
- administrative costs may not exceed 10% of the grant amount;
- equipment procurement costs may not exceed 70% of the grant amount;
- co-financing is allowed.
Grant funds cannot be used to support military groups, purchase medicines, provide assistance to animals, finance commercial activities, prepare cost estimate documentation, organise leisure events, fairs or festivals, or finance infrastructure construction and repair (including drilling wells, installing water towers or repairing sewage networks). Costs incurred before or after the project implementation period are also ineligible.
Supported Activities
The grant programme supports socially significant initiatives aimed at addressing the consequences of the war and strengthening local communities. The programme is implemented by DanChurchAid and Norwegian Church Aid, which have been operating in Ukraine since 2022.
The programme supports projects related to:
- critical infrastructure recovery;
- implementation of small flexible grants;
- protection activities;
- psychosocial support;
- prevention of gender-based violence;
- humanitarian mine action.
When preparing the project budget, applicants should note that administrative costs may not exceed 10% of the grant amount, while equipment procurement costs may not exceed 70% of the grant amount.
Roadmap
The grant programme roadmap outlines a sequential selection and implementation process for supported projects.
The key stages include:
- Call announcement: 30 June 2026.
- Online question-and-answer session: 14 July 2026 at 14:00.
- Application deadline: 26 July 2026, 23:59 EEST (Kyiv time).
- Stage 1: submission of the grant proposal and budget.
- Stage 2: review of applications and, where necessary, clarification requests to applicants.
- Stage 3: announcement of the selected grantees.
- Stage 4: collection of supporting documentation and signing of grant agreements.
- Project implementation period: up to 3 months, approximately from September to November 2026.

Required Documents
Applicants are required to upload all mandatory application documents through the online application system.
Application document checklist:
- a completed grant application form in
.docxformat, prepared using the official template; - a completed project budget in Excel (
.xlsx) format using the official template; - photographs of the project implementation site (up to 5 files);
- additional supporting documents, if applicable.
The system accepts only application and budget files prepared using the required templates.
Updates / Announcements
As part of the grant programme, an announcement of an online information session has been published for initiatives from the Kryvyi Rih district.
The question-and-answer session will take place on 14 July at 14:00. Interested participants are required to register using the registration link provided in the announcement.
