Eligibility
Within the grant programme, the eligibility for participation is defined as follows:
- Textile artisans from any country are eligible to apply.
- Applicants may be individuals, cooperatives, or small businesses.
- The product must be fiber-based, handmade, and not mass-produced.
Financing
Within the grant programme, the funding conditions are defined as follows:
- Individual applicants may request up to $500.
- Groups may apply for funding up to $1,000.
The funding amount varies depending on whether the application is submitted individually or as a group.
Supported Activities
Within the grant programme, the following supported activities are defined to help grow businesses:
- Funding may be used for raw materials (fiber, yarn, dye supplies, materials for building looms, etc.).
- Support is provided for tools and equipment, including sewing machines, looms, and digital cameras.
- The programme covers training, such as design, business, or technical skills development.
- Marketing activities are eligible, including craft fairs, brochures, catalogs, websites, and social media support.
At the same time, the programme does not fund:
- start-up expenses for new businesses (the business must already exist);
- mass-produced products;
- designers, exporters, or importers not directly working with artisans.
How to Apply
The application process requires completing a full application form with a detailed project description:
- The applicant must clearly explain the project, including what will be done, how it will be implemented, the cost, and how it will support business growth.
- A detailed budget outlining the use of funds must be included.
- The application must include at least five photos.

Within the grant programme, preference in evaluation is given to applications that:
- Preserve artistic traditions and cultural heritage.
- Benefit a broader community and promote collective prosperity.
- Support environmentally sustainable practices.
- Promote economic independence and stability.
