Program description
The State Agrarian Register has launched applications for a new grant cycle for Ukrainian agricultural producers. Farmers from eight regions can receive grant support for machinery, equipment, green technologies, processing, and infrastructure.
The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with financial support from the European Union.
Main Information
Eligibility
Within the framework of the grant program, farmers from the Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Volyn, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions are eligible to participate.
Financing
Within the framework of the grant program, funding will be provided in the hryvnia equivalent based on the UN exchange rate for different categories of agricultural producers.
Support will be available in two categories:
- up to UAH 440,500 for small agricultural producers;
- up to UAH 1,101,250 for micro- and small agricultural enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and producer associations with geographical indications.
Farmers from eight regions of Ukraine will be eligible to receive funding for:
- machinery;
- equipment;
- green technologies;
- processing activities;
- infrastructure development.
The program is aimed at supporting the development and modernization of agricultural production.
Supported Activities
Within the framework of the grant program, support is aimed at helping small producers modernize production, improve product quality, strengthen processing capacities, and increase sales of higher value-added products.
Supported activities and project types vary depending on the implementation region.
In the Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions, support is available for:
- berry farming;
- vegetable production;
- aquaculture;
- production and processing of dairy products.
In the Zakarpattia region, the program will support:
- producers of Zakarpattia honey;
- producers of Zakarpattia wine;
- traditional Hutsul cheese production, including Hutsul cow bryndza and sheep bryndza;
- projects in aquaculture, berry farming, vegetable production, and non-timber forest products.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions, support is available for projects related to:
- berry farming;
- vegetable production;
- non-timber forest products;
- aquaculture;
- traditional Hutsul cheese production.

On May 14 at 10:00 AM, FAO will hold a webinar dedicated to the launch of the fourth grant cycle.
Applications are accepted through the DAR system, with the submission deadline set for June 14, 2026.

Evaluation Criteria
Within the framework of the grant program, the evaluation and support priorities will take into account regional characteristics and the specialization of local producers.

This approach is intended to provide more relevant assistance tailored to local farming conditions and sector-specific needs.
