The “Own Business Studio” program for women IDPs

The "Business Workshop" program is designed to support women who are starting a business or rebuilding their own enterprise after forced changes.

The program provides participants with:

• a two-month training program;
• mentoring support;
• an opportunity to apply for a grant of up to EUR 4,000 to develop their business.

The initiative is intended for women taking their first steps in entrepreneurship or working to restore and grow their own businesses.

The program is intended for women with internally displaced person (IDP) status who are raising children under the age of 18 and are registered and residing in Kyiv or the Kyiv region.

To participate, applicants are expected to:

• commit to full participation in the four-day training program;
• attend all online learning sessions;
• work with a mentor to develop their business idea.

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the program. Applications are evaluated by an expert jury based on the innovativeness of the idea, the potential of the business model, the applicant's leadership qualities, and the feasibility of implementing the proposed project

At the final stage of the program, participants present their developed projects to the jury and compete for a grant of up to EUR 4,000 to support the development of their businesses.

Applicants should note that:

• mandatory taxes are deducted from the grant amount;
• the deductions include personal income tax (18%) and the military levy (5%) in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Participants receive comprehensive training and mentoring support designed to strengthen and refine their business ideas.

The program includes:

• a four-day in-person training in Kyiv (3–6 September 2026);
• individual business consultations and online mentoring;
• support in improving participants' business ideas and business models;
• practical tools for stress management and personal resilience to help balance business development with personal and family well-being.

The program follows a structured implementation timeline, from application submission to participation in the training activities.

Key milestones include:

• application deadline — 23 August 2026 (inclusive);
• launch of the two-month "Business Workshop" program;
• four-day in-person training in Kyiv, scheduled for 3–6 September 202

The "Business Workshop" program is implemented as part of the "Integrated Full-Cycle Assistance for Vulnerable Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine" project.
