Program description
The Center for Comprehensive Support of Combatants ("Kyiv Military Hub") announces micro-grant assistance. The program is organized by the Department of Social and Veterans Policy of the Kyiv City State Administration.
The goal is to support economic self-employment and entrepreneurial initiatives of veterans and their families by covering startup or scaling costs.
Funds must be used exclusively for business development in Kyiv. The grant is provided on a one-time basis.
Main Information
Eligibility
Applications may be submitted by participants who meet the following criteria:
- Kyiv residents who are Defenders with the status of combatants;
- Kyiv residents who are persons with disabilities resulting from war;
- Kyiv residents who are family members of Defenders;
- Kyiv residents who are family members of fallen Defenders;
- internally displaced persons (IDPs) who are фактично residing in Kyiv and hold the appropriate status.
Financing
The amount of grant funding is up to UAH 200,000 for business development in Kyiv.
Grant funding may be used for:
- equipment, furniture, and vehicles for business purposes;
- licensed software;
- advertising and marketing services;
- rental of premises or equipment;
- franchise fees or acquisition of business rights.
Supported Activities
Starting, restoring, and/or developing a private business.

How to Apply
1. Prepare the required package of documents (including the business plan and the application form).
2. Submit the completed application together with the full set of documents to the “Kyiv Military Hub” centers at the following addresses:
- 168-zh Kharkivske Highway;
- 7-B Ivana Mykytenka Street.
Submitted applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
Required Documents
To participate in the program, the following document package must be prepared:
- Passport of a citizen of Ukraine or ID card;
- Taxpayer Identification Number (registration number of the taxpayer’s account card);
- Certificate of registration as an internally displaced person (IDP) indicating actual residence in Kyiv (if IDP status applies);
- Banking documents: a certificate confirming the opening of a new separate account for receiving the microgrant, or a bank certificate confirming an account with a zero balance, plus a bank statement for the last three months;
- Bank certificate confirming the absence of outstanding loans and accrued interest;
- An up-to-date extract (valid as of the date of submission) from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Formations;
- Certificate confirming the absence of tax liabilities and mandatory payments administered by state authorities;
- Documents confirming status (combatant status, person with a disability resulting from war, or family member of a veteran / family member of a fallen Defender);
- Certificate of no criminal record;
- Business plan — mandatory in the form approved by the Order of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine;
- Application for receiving a microgrant with a signed consent to personal data processing — the template is available via the provided link.
Reporting and Compliance
The grant recipient is obliged to comply with the terms of the agreement. In case of violation of the agreement terms, the grant funds must be returned.
