Грантовий конкурс реалізується в межах проєкту «Bridge to Life-Saving Efforts» за підтримки Уряду Сполучених Штатів Америки. Програма спрямована на підтримку локальних організацій та громад, які працюють у сфері екстреного реагування.

Eligibility

Organizations and communities may participate in the grant competition if they meet the programme’s eligibility requirements and operate in the emergency response sector.

Key eligibility requirements include:

  • The organization must be officially registered under the laws of Ukraine and included in the Register of Non-Profit Organizations with the relevant non-profit status code (0032, 0036, 0038, or 0039).
  • The organization must have been registered for at least one year prior to the grant competition date.
  • Applicants must demonstrate sufficient operational capacity to implement the proposed project.
  • A proper financial management and accounting system, as well as the ability to provide reporting and undergo audits, is required.
  • The organization must have no tax arrears and must not be included in any sanctions lists.
  • The applicant’s activities should be related to the emergency response sector, supporting life-saving efforts and the protection of affected populations.
  • Eligible applicants include organizations or communities operating or planning activities in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions of Ukraine.
 

Financing

The grant amount is up to 5,000,000 UAH.

Supported Activities

The grant programme supports projects aimed at strengthening the capacity of local organizations and communities working in the emergency response sector. Priority is given to initiatives that address current community needs and deliver a practical impact on the protection of people and communities.

Supported projects may include:

  • the development and implementation of practical emergency response solutions;
  • activities focused on supporting and protecting affected populations;
  • initiatives that enhance the capacity of local organizations and communities;
  • projects designed to generate sustainable and long-term benefits for communities.

Roadmap

Key programme milestones include:

  • 27 May 2026 at 5:28 PM — launch of the grant competition;
  • until 07 June 2026 (inclusive) — application submission deadline.

Applicants are advised to prepare and submit all required documents before the application deadline to be considered for participation in the programme.
