Program description
EIT RawMaterials offers the opportunity to receive a grant of up to €1 million to implement innovative projects in the fields of extraction, processing, and recycling to strengthen the European supply chain for raw materials.
The program aims to support regions with lower levels of innovation within the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS).
Participants will receive funding, expert support, and access to Europe’s largest innovation network in the field of raw materials and materials.
The main objective is to create and implement new products, services, and business models that will contribute to the green and digital transitions.
Main Information
Eligibility
Consortia consisting of at least two partners from different countries that are eligible to participate in the Horizon Europe program
Financing
Eligible expenses:
Expenses related to the development and testing of new technologies, products, services, and business models; research; prototyping; pilot projects; remanufacturing; recycling; circular solutions; and personnel.
Ineligible expenses:
Expenses not related to the implementation of the project and not provided for in the approved budget.

How to Apply
1. Form the consortium.
2. Ensure partners meet RIS requirements.

Evaluation Criteria
Innovation, consortium quality, potential impact, alignment with EIT RawMaterials strategic objectives, market potential and regional innovation impact.
Reporting and Compliance
Projects must implement the agreed work plan, achieve stated results and KPIs
