Program description
The Executive Committee of the Myrhorod City Council has begun accepting applications for a business plan competition for individual entrepreneurs in the Myrhorod City Territorial Community. The initiative aims to support entrepreneurial projects and innovative business ideas by providing grants for their co-financing, to promote the development of small businesses, investment and innovation, the creation of new jobs, and the economic development of the Myrhorod community.
Main Information
Eligibility
The competition is open to individual entrepreneurs who plan to implement a business plan within the Myrhorod City Territorial Community and meet the established eligibility requirements.
Eligible applicants include:
- individual entrepreneurs operating under the simplified taxation system;
- internally displaced individual entrepreneurs conducting business within the Myrhorod community;
- farms cultivating up to 120 hectares of agricultural land;
- residents of Ukraine registered in settlements of the Myrhorod City Territorial Community;
- business entities operating within the community, registered with the Myrhorod State Tax Office, and paying taxes to the community budget.
Additional participation requirements:
- applicants must not be undergoing liquidation or reorganisation;
- applicants must have no outstanding tax, fee, or unified social contribution debts;
- only one business plan may be submitted per applicant.
Financing
Under the grant programme, successful applicants may receive a co-financing grant for their business plan, covering up to 70% of the total project cost.
Key funding conditions:
- the maximum amount of financial support is UAH 95,000;
- the applicant’s own contribution must be at least 30% of the total project cost;
- the minimum own contribution is UAH 30,000.
Supported Activities
Grant funding may be used to cover project-related expenses, including:
- the purchase of equipment, machinery, furniture, and tools;
- marketing and promotion of products or services;
- the creation or updating of a website;
- production of promotional materials and branding;
- the purchase of materials for renovating business premises owned by the applicant;
- obtaining permits, certification, and trademark registration;
- transportation costs directly related to project implementation.

Required Documents
To participate in the competition, individual entrepreneurs must submit the following documents:
- competition application form (Annex 1);
- information about the business entity, including the number of employees, production capacity, premises, and business specialisation;
- a certificate from the tax authority confirming the absence of outstanding tax liabilities to the community budget;
- an internally displaced person (IDP) certificate (for applicants registered outside the Myrhorod City Territorial Community);
- project business plan (Annex 2);
- information on any state aid received during the previous three years, including its form and purpose.
Reporting and Compliance
Projects must be implemented within one year after signing the grant agreement.
After receiving the funding, the entrepreneur is required to:
- use the grant funds solely for their intended purpose;
- continue business operations for one year after receiving the grant;
- submit a report on the use of the funds upon completion of the project;
- publicly present the results of the business plan implementation.
