Program description
As part of its efforts to streamline and consolidate its monitoring functions in accordance with the Energy Community Treaty as regards Ukraine, the Energy Community Secretariat has established an Energy Market Observatory for Ukraine. The main functions of the organization are to systematically monitor energy market data, assess the compliance of measures with Energy Community legislation, and provide recommendations to the Ukrainian authorities to improve their reform efforts. The platform also facilitates dispute mediation and further integration of energy systems with neighboring countries.

Financing
The initiative does not require new resources but focuses the existing activities of the Secretariat, with full involvement of its Kyiv office.
