Program description
The project aims to promote the restoration of economic independence for female veterans by developing entrepreneurial initiatives and social innovations through training, mentoring, and access to financing.
The main objectives of REDpreneurUA Women
• Strengthening the economic capacity of female veterans.
• Creating conditions for the launch and development of sustainable entrepreneurial projects.
• Supporting the professional and social reintegration of women after service.
• Forming a community of support, mentoring, and experience sharing among female veterans.
• Promoting women's leadership and the role of women in Ukraine's post-war recovery.
Participants will receive:
- Business training that combines theory and practice of doing business;
- Training in entrepreneurial skills development;
- Mentoring support from experienced entrepreneurs and experts;
- An online academy with access to modern educational materials;
- Networking opportunities — meeting like-minded people and potential partners;
- Grant funding of €7,000 to develop or start their own business.
The program is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, with the support of the Austrian fund Neighbour in Need and the Austrian Development Agency.
Training and mentoring support is provided in partnership with Ukrainian Future as part of the international REDpreneur franchise.

There are no restrictions by sector, but priority is given to businesses with an innovative, social, or environmental component.
Yes, you can. However, by the time the funding agreement is signed, your business must be officially registered in Ukraine.
Two cohorts of participants are planned for 2025–2026, with 25 participants in each cohort.
Training sessions will be held online via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:30.
Yes, attending all sessions is mandatory. If a participant cannot attend for a valid reason, she must inform the program manager in advance and independently review the missed material.
The program includes three months of online training and a final offline defense of business plans in Kyiv.
The 25 selected participants will attend two sessions per week, working on:

Based on the training results and final business plan defense before a jury, 17 participants will receive a €7,000 grant and further support to implement their business ideas.
