Program description
The program is organized by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation to provide systematic support to young performers, composers, and musical groups who are shaping the new wave of Ukrainian music.
LOT “New Voices” was launched to provide systematic support to young performers, composers, and music groups who are shaping the new wave of Ukrainian music and offering bold, innovative approaches to understanding contemporary sociocultural transformations.
The goal is to support projects that reflect on current events and Ukraine's war for independence, contribute to strengthening the moral resilience of society, and promote Ukrainian values around the world. The program encourages the use of the latest technologies (sound design, VR/AR, immersive audio) and the creation of a modern brand for Ukraine.
Main Information
Eligibility
The applicant for the LOT may be a legal entity of any form of ownership or an individual entrepreneur, each of which is registered in Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine at least six months prior to the date of the announcement of the competition, with the exception of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine*.
* In accordance with the current amendments to the List of territories where hostilities are (were) conducted or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, approved by Order of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine No. 376 dated February 28, 2025.
Financing
The total budget of the LOT is UAH 10 million.*
- Minimum grant amount (cannot be reduced): UAH 500 thousand.
- Maximum grant amount (cannot be increased): UAH 1 million.
This LOT supports the following sectors of culture and creative industries:
- audio art;
- audiovisual art.
Main LOT product:
- Music single(s) — with video footage;
- Mini-album (EP) — with a total duration of 10–25 minutes with video footage for each track.
Additionally, the product may include innovative forms of presentation, multi-genre and multicultural elements, interactive formats, or digital experiments.
* The Foundation reserves the right not to spend all the funds provided for in this LOT. Please note that the LOT budget may change both upwards and downwards in the event of changes to the relevant regulatory and legal acts.

- audiovisual art.
The priorities of LOT support are:
- discovering new names on the Ukrainian and international music scene;
- supporting experimental practices and the emergence of new genres and cross-genre trends;
- promoting the professional development of young performers and composers, providing them with resources and platforms for the realization of creative ideas, the development of their own music brand, and the formation of Ukraine's contemporary sound identity;
- stimulating innovative projects, audiovisual collaborations, and digital music products that resonate with current trends in the global music industry.

Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation criteria include discovery of new names, support for experimental practices, professional development of young artists, and alignment with global industry trends.

| National Cooperation | A national cooperation project is a project in the fields of culture and arts and creative industries, involving one applicant and at least one partner from different regions (oblasts) of Ukraine. Project implementation and public presentation of results must take place in two oblasts (the applicant’s and the partner’s). | International Cooperation | An international cooperation project is a project in the fields of culture and arts and creative industries, implemented in Ukraine and/or abroad in partnership with other legal entities of all forms of ownership (enterprises, institutions, and organizations). The applicant must be a resident of Ukraine, and one of the partners must be a non-resident.
