Program description
The UN World Food Programme, within the “AgroHub” project and together with the NGO “Southern Development Strategy”, announces the start of a support program for small and medium agricultural producers to grow winter peas.
Why grow winter peas?:
- Adaptation to climate change
- Improving soil quality and an ecological approach
- Reducing risks from summer droughts
- Planning and yield stability
Main Information
Eligibility
- Farm size up to 500 ha
- Status: legal entity or sole proprietorship
- Registration in one of the communities: Bashtansky district (Mykolaiv region): all communities; Mykolaiv district (Mykolaiv region): Voskresenska, Pervomaiska settlements; Shevchenkivska, Halytsynivska rural communities; Beryslav district (Kherson region): Velykooleksandrivska, Vysokopilsk, Kalynivska settlements; Kochubeivska hromadas.
Financing
Support in the amount of UAH 2,000 per hectare of winter peas sown for the 2026 harvest.
Roadmap
- Applications will be accepted until January 18, 2026;
- Applications will be reviewed until January 28, 2026;
- Payments will be made in February 2026.

Evaluation Criteria
Participants in the program will be selected on a competitive basis. Priority will be given to farmers who grow new crops, are located closer to the front line, and can effectively and convincingly describe their activities.
Required Documents
- Registration and availability of an extract from the State Agrarian Register
- Legal entities must provide the last 4-sg and 29-sg
- Individual entrepreneurs must provide a document confirming the sown area in 2025
