Program description

IOM's grant program aims to restore the economy, create jobs and provide the population with critically important goods and services. Funding of up to 23,000 USD is offered for the purchase of specialized equipment and tools, repair and arrangement of premises, product certification and development of marketing strategies, including entry into international markets. Activities must be implemented within no more than 5 months

Eligibility

Applicants must be registered business clusters or cooperatives with Ukrainian company participants; applicants are responsible for paying all taxes and fees associated with receiving the grant

Financing

Purchase of specialized equipment and tools for production/processing; repair and arrangement of premises (furniture, shelving); certification, development of marketing strategy, entry into international markets

How to Apply

By the deadline, you need to fill out an online form. After submitting the application, initial selection takes place (verification of compliance with basic requirements and prioritization of candidates); selected candidates prepare a business plan and present it to the selection committee online; then contracts are signed and grants are allocated with monitoring of targeted use for issuing subsequent tranches; the final stage is grant reporting and evaluation

Evaluation Criteria

Priority is given to clusters and cooperatives whose members belong to micro and small enterprises; work in the field of production, processing, expansion of sales markets or manufacture critically important or socially significant goods or innovative products/services; as well as organizations headed by women, youth or representatives of vulnerable population groups
