Program description
The program aims to support cross-sectoral projects that use digital technologies in the cultural heritage sector.
The goal of the LOT is to support cross-sectoral projects that use digital technologies in the cultural heritage sector during the creation of cultural and artistic products, in particular the digitization of collections (museum, archive, library); the creation of virtual museums (3D photography, 3D processing, 3D modeling, 3D printing, 3D mapping); virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, etc.
Support for projects that contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage and the Ukrainian language and their role in shaping a unique national identity, increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian cultural and artistic products, and promote them to a global audience.
Main Information
Eligibility
The applicant for the LOT may be a legal entity of any form of ownership or an individual entrepreneur, each of which has been registered in Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine for at least two years prior to the date of the competition announcement, with the exception of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and has relevant experience in the field of culture.
* In accordance with the current changes to the List of territories where hostilities are (were) conducted or temporarily occupied by the RF, approved by Order of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine No. 376 dated February 28, 2025.
Financing
The total budget of LOT is UAH 30 million.*
- Minimum grant amount (cannot be reduced): UAH 500 thousand.
- Maximum grant amount (cannot be increased): UAH 2 million.
Main product of the LOT: a cross-sectoral project for the preservation of cultural heritage, which must include:
- a digital product (digital description, catalog, fund, collection, assembly);
- a digital exhibit (3D scanning of museum exhibits, multimedia hologram, 3D and 2D animation);
- virtual tours and 360° excursions (including multimedia audio guides);
- multimedia exhibitions and mapping (exhibition/re-exhibition);
- virtual and augmented reality (AR product, MR product, VR product), etc.
* The Foundation reserves the right not to spend all the funds provided for in this LOT. Please note that the LOT budget may change both upwards and downwards in the event of amendments to the relevant regulatory acts.
Supported Activities
Within this LOT, one sector of culture and creative industries is supported – cultural heritage.
Priority areas of support for the LOT:
- research into cultural heritage, in particular that which has been damaged or destroyed during the Russian aggression or that which is under threat, and its promotion among a wide audience, including through the creation of digital platforms and products: new websites (updating existing ones), mobile applications, interactive maps, development of games, online quests, 3D tours, etc.;
- study, preservation, and promotion of intangible cultural heritage through new forms and approaches;
- using a cross-sectoral approach, introducing innovations and best practices to study, preserve, and promote tangible and intangible cultural heritage;
- creating interactive library and museum spaces, introducing online archival, library, and museum services, including digital tickets, virtual tours, online quests, mobile applications for interactive communication between archives, libraries, and museums with visitors, creation of a wide range of live and online activities for people with limited mobility (inclusive categories of the population), and introduction of immersive technologies.

How to Apply
1. Register in the UCF system.
2. Fill out the electronic application on the website.
3. Attach the budget, work plan, and project prospectus.
4. Upload the extract from the Unified State Register and other documents.
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance and alignment: consistency of project goals with LOT priorities and UCF strategic objectives.
- Innovation and uniqueness: use of cross-sectoral approaches and latest digital technologies.
- Quality of project design: clarity of the plan, logical stages, and realistic deadlines.
- Budget justification: alignment of costs with planned activities and market pricing of resources.
- Effectiveness and sustainability: expected impact on the heritage sector, measurable results (KPIs), and viability after the grant ends.
- Team and experience: qualifications of participants and the applicant's experience in the cultural sphere.

| National cooperation | A national cooperation project is a project in the fields of culture and arts / creative industries involving one applicant and at least one partner from different regions (oblasts) of Ukraine. Implementation and public presentation of results must take place in the oblasts of the applicant and partner(s).
