Program description
The service allows receiving compensation of expenses for arranging a workplace for a person with disability from the Social Insurance Fund
Main Information
Eligibility
Legal entities, sole proprietors, or self-employed individuals who have set up a workplace for a person with a disability are eligible for compensation.
Financing
Compensation is paid in the amount of actual expenses for the arrangement of the workplace of an employed person with a disability, but not exceeding the maximum amount of compensation. Namely:
- for persons with Group I disabilities — no more than 15 minimum wages in accordance with the law as of January 1 of the calendar year in which the decision is made
- for persons with Group II disabilities — no more than 10 minimum wages in accordance with the law as of January 1 of the calendar year in which the decision is made.
Supported Activities
Compensation is provided for assistive devices already purchased to equip the workplace of a person with a disability. These devices can be categorized as follows:
- furniture and fittings;
- lighting;
- mobility and transportation;
- tools and materials;
- office equipment;
- health and safety;
- vision;
- hearing;
- communication and connection;
- computers and software;
- recording and playback of information;
- other.

Legal entities, sole proprietors, and self-employed individuals who have equipped a workplace for a person with a disability are eligible for compensation. The application can be submitted within 180 calendar days from the date of employment/start of work of the person with a disability, state registration of the individual entrepreneur, registration of the self-employed person, or resumption of activity after discharge from military service, if the person with a disability was insured on that date.
Compensation is not provided if the person with a disability worked for this employer for 180 days prior to new employment or until August 29, 2023.
The application is processed by the regional employment center at the place of business. In case of a change of location, compensation is paid by the employment center that made the decision.
No. However, if an additional check reveals non-compliance with the requirements of the Procedure, the compensation to the employer will be canceled.
No. Compensation for employing a person with a disability is provided on a one-time basis.
Yes, a person is eligible for compensation if a person with a disability has left military service for reserve or retirement and returned to their previous job, or has been transferred to another position with the same employer.
Yes. If a person with a disability is self-employed, they can receive compensation for equipping their own workplace.
